
The present document defines the conditions under which Retro tour is bound to the legal or physical person with whom it deals and who is designated under the term “customer”.
By accepting the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale, customers expressly declare that they are aware that the services provided by RETRO TOUR are services for the transport of persons on board a sidecar.
Consequently, the services provided are legally governed by the legal provisions applicable to contracts for the transport of persons in force on the day of acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
In this respect, and in order to justify compliance with the regulations in force, RETRO TOUR declares that it holds all authorizations, licenses and authorizations for the transportation of passengers for remuneration.
RETRO TOUR also benefits from mandatory legal guarantees for passenger transport contracts, and declares that it has taken out the following insurance policies:

The transport service is provided by a private chauffeur and may be accompanied by the supply of an optional service ordered at the time of booking.
With the exception of the Retro Classic Tour offer, sidecar transportation includes pick-up at a location defined by the customer (within Paris except districts 2, 3 ,10, 11, 12, 18, 19 and 20) and drop-off at a location also defined by the customer (within Paris except districts 2, 3 ,10, 11, 12, 18, 19 and 20).
Some exceptions apply to Half Day and Full Day tours. Please contact us for your pick-up location.
Transportation is provided by a private driver and may be accompanied by the supply of an optional service ordered at the time of booking.
Management reserves the right to change the pick-up location according to events in the city. You will be informed by e-mail at least the day before your tour.
Reservations must be paid in full when you place your order on our website.
In the case of confirmation of a live booking (exchange of e-mails, telephone, Whatsapp), the booking is due in full if the cancellation is made within the five days preceding the service.
The reservation must be accompanied by payment of a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the service, which constitutes a substantial and determining condition of the reservation. In the absence of payment of the deposit, RETRO TOUR will not confirm the reservation and does not guarantee the availability of vehicles and drivers.
RETRO TOUR reserves the right to modify or cancel the tours if the safety of customers, an exceptional event or a technical imperative so requires.
A reduction in the number of vehicles is considered a partial cancellation of the reservation.
For partial cancellations made more than five days in advance, a charge of 10% will be applied per vehicle cancelled.
Partial cancellations made five days prior to the event will be charged at 100% of the total amount per vehicle cancelled.
Changing the date of the event is considered as a total cancellation and gives rise to the application of the following cancellation conditions:
For cancellations received more than five days before the event, a charge of 10% will be applied to the total amount of the reservation.
All cancellations made within five days before the event will be charged at 100% of the total amount of the reservation.
In the case of a postponement after a “firm reservation” (Article 4), a fee of 50% of the amount of the postponed service will apply.
No refund will be made for any interruption to the tour caused by the customer.
The management reserves the right to modify or cancel the tours if customer comfort, safety or technical imperatives so require.
The company is in no way responsible for traffic jams, delays, irregularities, strikes, bad weather, accidents, serious injuries, delays, theft/loss of objects.
We provide equipment to protect you from the cold (plaids and coats) during your tours. As the sidecar activity takes place outdoors, please bring appropriate clothing for the weather!
We are riding in case of bad weather and we guarantee :
– Equal pleasurable experience, thanks to our specially adapted gear.
– The use of waterproof ponchos to protect our passengers.
We strongly advise our guests to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.
Cancellation conditions apply in the event of postponement or cancellation of the reservation (ART 5.1 and 5.2).
Management reserves the right to define the exceptional conditions attributable to your tour in the event of its postponement or cancellation.
Exceptional conditions do not include
-delay or cancellation of your flight
-cancellation of your trip
-illness of one of your passengers
-world geopolitical situation
-weather conditions
